Things to do on the Sunshine Coast

A day on the Sunshine Coast was something out of a fantasy. A great combination of action, leisure, and life-long memories can be found on the Sunshine Coast, living up to its name. We planned to see Moololaba's aquatic life, a distinctive underwater habitat when we first started the day.

General admission, yearly passes, and parent and child passes are the options available for tickets and passes. Depending on your situation, you have a choice.

A popular indoor marine park with a variety of interactive experiences and attractions is called Sea Life. Numerous marine species, such as sharks, seals, rays, and the sole colony of Little Blue Penguins on the Sunshine Coast, may be found at the aquarium.

There is much to see, the most notable of which is the aquarium located above ground. Touch pools, sharks, rays, frogs, fish, and jellyfish are all present.

Fantastic displays, but extremely crowded. It was tough to find your way around the entire area, and there was an extensive wait outside the door. Since my children are naturally drawn to animals, it was wonderful to watch them having fun. It was worthwhile to go here.

Kenilworth Coastal Bakery, The Wharf Mooloolaba

Kenilworth Coastal Bakery was our next stop. Its donut coffee has garnered a lot of attention. The espresso that fills the donut creates a delicious combination of sweet, nutty, and rich, creamy coffee flavours. It is a must-try even though it can be a little difficult to drink. We tried different doughnut flavours. The Lotus one was my favourite. There are not enough seats. It is more of a takeout place.

A one-hour Cruise

While exploring The Wharf Mooloolaba, we discovered that we could book a trip at Mooloolaba Cruise. We reserved a one-hour cruise. Arrive at the departure location 15 to 20 minutes ahead of the boarding time. A fantastic way to take in the stunning beauty of the Sunshine Coast is to go on an hour-long cruise at Mooloolaba. The Mooloolaba Canal Cruise led us through the serene Mooloolaba canals, where we could see luxury close to the coast residences and breathtaking landscapes. Enjoying the surroundings in this way was soothing. They started by serving us our juices and drinks. From the menu, we selected our meals. The deal includes the first drink and lunch. You must pay for additional beverages. The grilled fish was good. The informative commentary highlights the region's natural beauty and historical history, giving the experience more depth.

Sunshine Plaza

Sunshine Plaza, a well-liked shopping area with a wide variety of retail establishments, restaurants, and entertainment venues, is spread throughout different regions. There are kid-friendly areas for play and frequent activities. On the Plaza Pontoon, a special feature of Sunshine Plaza located on the waterway, you may enjoy paddle boats and other water sports.

Several sit-down cafes and restaurants for lunch or coffee breaks surround the centre. TGI Fridays, Betty's Burgers, and Grill'd are noteworthy choices. We planned to explore this expansive area while taking some time for coffee and ice cream for the kids. The kids were in awe of this breathtaking location.

Ton Khao Bistro

Known for its genuine Thai food and warm ambience, Ton Khao Bistro is a well-liked Thai restaurant at Sunshine Plaza, Sunshine Coast. The cuisine was delicious and reasonably priced. There was halal chicken. We'll return and heartily endorse it. This time, to eat on the beach, we had to take away. however, I'll dine in next time.

Noosa Heads

Noosa Head was our next stop. 35 to 40 minutes is the estimated driving time, depending on traffic and stops. It's true that the drive to Noosa Heads is picturesque and provides a singular opportunity to witness breathtaking scenery. We stopped at different locations to take photos. It can be difficult to get parking at Noosa Heads Main Beach, particularly on weekends, holidays, and during school breaks. We waited over thirty minutes for a parking space. After changing into our swimsuits, we went swimming. There were lots of people on the beach. Swimming at the beach was a delightful experience. Because Noosa Main Beach provides a fun, safe, and adaptable environment, kids adore playing there. Children used to love to dig holes in the sand and bury themselves or each other up to the neck. Kids enjoyed running in the shallow surf and jumping over the waves.

We left the beach and said goodbye to the Sunshine Coast as the sun set below the horizon. Every moment has been a combination of excitement, leisure, and sheer happiness, from the busy stores of Sunshine Plaza to the serene beaches of Noosa Heads. Thank you Sunshine Coast for the priceless moments and the assurance of more to come the next time.
