Summertime vacations with family are a great way to make enduring memories and deepen relationships. Thus, we arranged a three-day excursion to the Sunshine Coast, only 1.5 hours away from Brisbane. The Sunshine Coast offers a wonderful combination of gorgeous beaches, verdant hinterlands, and quaint villages, making it an ideal vacation spot.
Novotel Resort
Even though there
are many options, we decided to stay at Novotel Resort.

It provides a variety of games and activities that are supervised to keep kids occupied. Kids can socialize and play in safe and enjoyable areas.
We needed more space and luxury, so we booked a suite. It
offers separate living areas, a Balcony, a fridge, a TV and upgraded amenities.
No Halal meat was available so I cooked and packed some food. The kids
were exhausted, so we ate lunch and rested when first arrived at the resort. We
waited a while to go outside because it was a warm noon.
Following a while, we decided to go to the swimming
pool because the kids' first wish was to swim. With kid-friendly
shallow options and lots of space for families to enjoy themselves together,
the pool area is great for families.
Around the pool are lots of sun loungers ideal for
lounging and enjoying the sun in between swimming pool floats and toys for kids giving their pool time an extra dose of fun
and imagination. They socialized and became friends with other children.
Once we had
thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we returned to our suite, changed into our new
clothing, and had a stroll.
Seeing kangaroos and turkeys on our way astounds us. Going across the bridge was a breathtaking experience, gazing out over the lagoon, and watching the sunset. The grounds had exquisite landscaping featuring tropical plants and flowers, resulting in a lively and soothing ambience.
Day Two
We had breakfast the following day. The breakfast
buffet was large, although this breakfast buffet was highly-priced. There was a
good selection of cuisine. Nevertheless, there were not a lot of seats.
Sometimes you have to wait for a free table.
Every day, free
activities including fish feeding, kayaking, mini golfing, and more are offered
to guests staying at the hotel in addition to the water activities.
We went kayaking after breakfast. Remember to bring water bottles, hats and sunscreen. You can completely experience the serene surroundings and verdant sceneries while kayaking through the calm water. Because there aren't always enough boats, you may have to wait for your turn. We spent some time cruising the resort lagoon on a catamaran. Management provides life safety jackets for kids and adults.
An announcement was made urging children to assemble
close to the pool. It was time to start playing volleyball. The kids had a
lot of fun. Kids played in the pool throughout the evening. We had pizza, which
was fairly priced but not worth it.
Day Three
Our plan for the day was to visit the BLI BLI water
sports facility—hourly sessions at the aqua park last 50 minutes. You have to purchase
an entrance ticket. It is situated in a sizable extent of the back lake
and features slides, runaways, blast bags, bouncers, and floating. It's fun for
all ages. After returning to the resort, the children went to the tropical
escape game area, which offers the latest family-friendly arcade games. Little
Cinema offered movie screenings for the kids as we roamed about. so our third
and final day was coming to an end.
