TOFFEE TOPPED PEACHES



The rich flavour of toffee combines with the sweetness of ripe peaches to create a delicious dessert: toffee-topped peaches. This is an easy recipe to make this delicious treat:

Ingredients

Peaches                                          1    Tin

Thickened Cream                          1     packet

Brown Sugar                                 1/3  cup

Vanilla Essence                            1/3  tsp

Icing Sugar                                    1/4  cup

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 190°C.
  • Whip the cream. Put the icing sugar inside after it solidifies into a pack. Add vanilla extract.
  • Drain the liquid from the peaches and slice them. Spread them in an ovenproof dish. Reserve some for decoration.
  • On top of the cream, sprinkle the brown sugar.
  • Evenly cover the peaches with whipped cream.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven until the sugar melts.
  • After it becomes light golden, refrigerate it for one hour.
  • Decorate the dish with reserved peaches and serve.
